Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos, and most of the Stanford-adjacent peninsula communities have zoned out adult entertainment since the '80s. There are no gentleman's clubs, cabarets, or adult theaters in the corridor.

The nearest concentration is in San Francisco's North Beach and SoMa neighborhoods — 35 minutes up the 101 — or the South Bay cluster around San Jose and Milpitas. Both are a deliberate drive, not a walk.

The tech corridor culture, the zoning, and the commercial real estate economics have consistently rejected the adult-entertainment format. It's not a policy that's been seriously contested in decades.
